DEAD ISLAND Live-Action Video Game Trailer: Survival Horror in Reverse

Dead Island Live Action Video Game Trailer

Live-Action Dead Island Trailer. BJ McDonnell‘s Dead Island video game trailer is the live-action version of the Dead Island video game trailer released in 2011. The cast members in the trailer are unidentified but what is evident is that a lot of time and care went into the action and choreography of this adaptation. It looks like they went frame by frame with their recreation of the original trailer.

The video game the trailer is based on: “Dead Island – for Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and the PC – and was developed by Techland and was published by Deep Silver.”

Dead Island‘s trailer plot synopsis: “a short story about a family visiting a tropical island retreat and…their destruction using footage that ran forward and back along the narrative timeline.”

Having just watch The Walking Dead: Indifference this morning, we I watched this trailer, all I could think of was how the Dead Island universe could be lifted or be grafted onto The Walking Dead universe. Lionsgate bought the film adaptation rights years ago and there has been no development on it since, nothing of note anyway.
