DEADPOOL 2 (2018): Zazie Beetz To Play Domino

Zazie Beetz

Zazie Beetz Joins The Cast Of Deadpool 2 As Domino

Atlanta actress Zazie Beetz is set to appear as Marvel Comics character Domino in the planned superhero film sequel Deadpool 2.

Aside from her role as Vanessa on the FX drama series from Donald Glover, Beetz is also known for her supporting roles in movies like Wolves, Applesauce and is set to appear in Sollers Point, Finding Her, and Slice. Additionally, she has appeared twice as the character Noelle in Netflix‘s in-house TV show Easy.

The character she is going to play in the planned Deadpool follow-up is well-known to fans of the X-Men comics as a highly-skilled markswoman who has the power of probability manipulation, making her the perfect partner for the Merc with a Mouth and formidable fighter in her own right.

Superherohype, the source of this story, had this to share about the project:

Deadpool 2 will also introduce Cable, the time-traveling son of the X-Men’s Cyclops. The character has one of the comic book medium’s more complicated origin stories, so it remains to be seen what will go into the backstory of the big screen Cable. The role is currently being cast and, while rumors have been quite prevalent, an actor has not yet been selected for the role.

Even as Deadpool 2 heads towards production, plans are said to already be underway on a third Deadpool film that will flesh out a full X-Force team.
