DEADPOOL (2016): Filming Has Wrapped as Ryan Reynolds Thanks Fans for Support

Ryan Reynolds Thanks Fans For Their Support as Deadpool Wraps Filming. It wasn’t too long ago in April when an announcement on April Fools Day by Ryan Reynolds revealed that a Deadpool movie was being made. We’ve seen videos and photos of the set, but now filming has come to an end.

No one expected a Deadpool movie to be made after the disastrous X-Men Origins: Wolverine and get an R-Rating from the studio. Thanks to Ryan Reynolds, his support to get the movie made came true and announced it to the world with an April Fools reveal. Since then, filming began in Vancouver where everyone saw all the great videos and photos of the Merc with a Mouth in action.

With principal photography all done, Ryan Reynolds went on Twitter to thank all his fans for the support and left a parting gift to the citizens of Vancouver. He wrote, “#Deadpool has been a privilege to make. And we got to make this film because of you. Gonna eat a samich now. ?”
