DEADPOOL (2016): Ryan Reynolds Reveals Official Costume

Ryan Reynolds Unveils Official Costume for Deadpool. Production on Deadpool began over a week ago and we don’t even know what the Deadpool’s costume would look like in the upcoming movie. Well, Ryan Reynolds heard our request and has released the first image of the costume.

Right off of his Twitter Page, Reynolds posted a tweet of the movie’s official costume with the tagline, “With great power, comes great irresponsibility.” The image showcases the costume reminiscent of the comics with the traditional red jumpsuit with the sinister white eyes. In the image, we see Deadpool lounging seductively on a bearskin rug. Based on what we have seen, we can expect the movie to have the same dark and campy overtones as the comics.

Directed by Tim Miller, Deadpool also stars T.J. Miller, Morena Baccarin, and Gina Carano. The film is scheduled to open in theaters on February 12, 2016.
