Elodie Yung to Reprise Role of Elektra in The Defenders

One thing is for certain, The Hand will definitely accomplish resurrecting Elektra when The Defenders drops on Netflix next year as it’s been confirmed that Elodie Yung will be returning to the role. It’s going to be interesting to see what kind of role she will play in the team-up series.

Elektra’s death was shown towards the end of Daredevil’s second season, which wasn’t handled well according to fans. However, seeing The Hand in possession of her corpse does tease some exciting things to come for her. Seeing her return was a given, and seeing that she fits into the ninja clan’s plans, she will definitely be powered by the Black Sky when we see her in the upcoming Marvel miniseries.

At least we don’t have to wait till the third season of Daredevil to see Elektra’s fate with Marvel confirming that she will become a series regular in The Defenders. This should raise some questions on how she will be involved in the plotline for the series. For now, we will have to wait and see how Elektra fits into The Defenders. We might even see her as a villain of sorts, but Daredevil (Charlie Cox) may find a way to bring her back to her normal self. What do you guys think?
