Doctor Strange IMAX TV Spot, Poster, and IMAX 3D Event

Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures has released an extended IMAX movie TV commercial and IMAX 3D Event information.  This trailer, excuse me, this extended TV promo, offers much more of the beginning of the film than previously released trailers, featurette, and commercials. We see Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch)’s opulent life and the grand operating room he used before his accident.

This extended TV spot also effectively shows the duality of his reality to the other ones that coexist along side his reality.

This TV spot also mentions The Avengers via Wong (Benedict Wong): “The Avengers protect the world from physical dangers. We safeguard it from more mystical threats.”

The wordplay between Doctor Strange and  Kaecilius (Mads Mikkelsen) at the end of the commercial is pretty funny.

Disney’s exclusive look at Doctor Strange will be in select cities and will debut 15 minutes of the film in IMAX 3D. “Fans who attend this exclusive sneak peek will also receive a limited-edition, collectible “Doctor Strange” IMAX poster! While supplies last.” You can select your city and see if screening seats are still available here.

He quickly learns that this is not just a center for healing but also the front line of a battle against unseen dark forces bent on destroying our reality. Before long Strange — armed with newly acquired magical powers — is forced to choose whether to return to his life of fortune or leave it all behind to defend the world as the most powerful sorcerer in existence.”
