Doctor Strange International Trailer, Character Featurette, and TV Spots

Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures has released the international movie trailer and a new movie featurette for Doctor Strange (2016). The international trailer for Doctor Strange features bits of new footage, including new scenes involving Doctor Strange’s cap and action in the third act of the film. The character featurette, as the name implies, discusses the various characters in the film and the parts they play in the narrative. Most of the featurette talks each character’s connection with Dr. Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch). Producer Kevin Feige briefly speaks about the impressive cast of the film.

The new TV spots, entitled Join Us and Unlock Your Power respectively, features old and new film footage.

Doctor Strange‘s plot synopsis (spoilers): “From Marvel comes Doctor Strange, the story of the world-famous neurosurgeon Dr. Stephen Strange whose life changes forever after a horrific car accident robs him of the use of his hands. When traditional medicine fails him, he is forced to look for healing, and hope, in an unlikely place — a mysterious enclave known as Kamar-Taj. He quickly learns that this is not just a center for healing but also the front line of a battle against unseen dark forces bent on destroying our reality. Before long Strange — armed with newly acquired magical powers — is forced to choose whether to return to his life of fortune or leave it all behind to defend the world as the most powerful sorcerer in existence.”

Scott Derrickson‘s Doctor Strange‘s stars Mads Mikkelsen, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Tilda Swinton, Rachel McAdams, Scott Adkins, Michael Stuhlbarg, Benedict Wong, Dante Briggins, Bern Collaco, Juani Feliz, Daniel Eghan, Annarie Boor, Amy Landecker, and Tony Paul West.
