Two new movie TV commercials have premiered for the Doctor Strange (2016) comic book-to-film adaptation. The first TV spot introduces the cloak of levitation and levity into the film. The cloak of levitation seems to be alive and to have taken a liking to Dr. Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch).

The other TV spot entitled ‘Rewind’ is the “trippy” TV spot for the film to date. It actually features Dr. Strange’s advanced use of the mystic arts against Kaecilius (Mads Mikkelsen), reversing time to his advantage. This TV spot also features key moments from the first act of the film.

Scott Derrickson‘s Doctor Strange‘s stars Chiwetel Ejiofor, Tilda Swinton, Rachel McAdams, Scott Adkins, Michael Stuhlbarg, Benedict Wong, Dante Briggins, Bern Collaco, Juani Feliz, Daniel Eghan, Annarie Boor, Amy Landecker, and Tony Paul West.

Doctor Strange‘s plot synopsis (spoilers): “From Marvel comes Doctor Strange, the story of the world-famous neurosurgeon Dr. Stephen Strange whose life changes forever after a horrific car accident robs him of the use of his hands. When traditional medicine fails him, he is forced to look for healing, and hope, in an unlikely place — a mysterious enclave known as Kamar-Taj. He quickly learns that this is not just a center for healing but also the front line of a battle against unseen dark forces bent on destroying our reality. Before long Strange — armed with newly acquired magical powers — is forced to choose whether to return to his life of fortune or leave it all behind to defend the world as the most powerful sorcerer in existence.”
