DOUBT: CBS Orders Katherine Heigl Drama

Katherine Heigl Doubt

CBS orders Katherine Heigl drama Doubt to series. Following a year of re-development and re-casting, Doubt has been ordered to series by CBS for the 2016-2017 season. The series was originally created for the 2015-2016 season, but after it wasn’t picked up its creators went back to the drawing board, and their reconfiguring of the show seems to have paid off.

Doubt is set to start Katherine Heigl as a defense lawyer who has it all going for her until she begins to defend a client (Steven Pasquale) who’s charismatic, cute, and accused of committing a brutal crime. What happens to a case when the lawyer starts to fall for the defendant?
