Dragon Blade Trailer Has Been Released. Daniel Lee‘s Dragon Blade (2015) movie trailer stars Adrien Brody, John Cusack, and Jackie Chan. Dragon Blade‘s plot synopsis has yet to be officially released.

Though there is no official plot synopsis for this yet, there is a trailer below, and to be honest – who needs more information on this, anyway? I think I will watch this lazily, hazily on a rainy, no brainy Sunday, and have the time of my life. John Cusack looks so incredibly miscast here, you wonder if he’s ever been in a fight. Adrien Brody looks incredibly engaged and out of his mind, which is wonderful news for us. And then there’s Jackie Chan, who looks every bit as dignified and personable as he ever has. Jackie can do no wrong.

According to a user-submitted plot synopsis on IMDb,

A massive success this year in its native China, “Dragon Blade” brings action spectacle on a grand scale to US audiences. Featuring an international cast led by Jackie Chan, John Cusack and Academy Award® winner Adrien Brody, the film features the fight for the Silk Road when East and West collide. When corrupt Roman leader Tiberius (Adrien Brody) arrives with a giant army to claim the Silk Road, Huo An (Jackie Chan) and his group of trained warriors teams up with an elite legion of defected Roman soldiers led by General Lucius (John Cusack) to maintain the delicate balance of power in the region. To protect his country and his new friends, Huo An gathers the warriors of thirty-six ethnic nations together to fight Tiberius in an incredible epic battle. The film is written and directed by Daniel Lee (“Black Mask”) and produced by Jackie Chan and Susanna Tsang.

I’m amazed this film was made, that it stars who it stars, and that we get to see it sooner rather than later. The action-choreography will undoubtedly be top-notch, and honestly, its the acting I’m most interested in seeing here. I can’t believe this movie exists.
