Rooney Mara, Daniel Craig, David Fincher Sweden Set Photos from The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo (2011) have premiered. The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo is based off of the first book of critically acclaimed Millennium Trilogy, which has already spurred three successful Swedish films. The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo (2011) also stars Stellan Skarsgard, Robin Wright, Max von Sydow, Christopher Plummer, Joely Richardson, Steven Berkoff and David Dencik, Joel Kinnaman, Embeth Davidtz, Goran Visnjic, Julian Sands, Steven Berkoff, Geraldine James, Yorick van Wageningen, and Sahlima. The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo (2011)’s plot synopsis: “Harriet Vanger, a scion of one of Sweden’s wealthiest families disappeared over forty years ago. All these years later, her aged uncle (Christopher Plummer) continues to seek the truth. He hires Mikael Blomkvist (Daniel Craig), a crusading journalist recently trapped by a libel conviction, to investigate. He is aided by the pierced and tattooed computer prodigy Lisbeth Salander (Rooney Mara). Together they tap into a vein of unfathomable iniquity and astonishing corruption.”
