DUMB AND DUMBER TO (2014): Jennifer Lawrence Has Secret Cameo

Jennifer Lawrence has a secret one-day cameo in the Dumb and Dumber To sequel. Who Jennifer Lawrence is briefly playing in the film was recently revealed after she appeared on the Atlanta set of the film. According to the Hollywood Reporter she appeared on the Atlanta set to play a young version of Kathleen Turner’s character. Lawrence’s Hunger Games: Mockingjay set is nearby, and sources say the entire cast has visited the Dumb and Dumber To location.

Other cast members include Jim Carry, Jeff Daniels, Rob Riggle, Rachel Melvin, Laurie Holden, and Steve Tom. Principal photography is already underway.

Lawrence will be seen next in The Hunger Games: Catching Fire and recently completed filming David O. Russell’s American Hustle and X-Men: Days of The Future Past. She is in production on the their and fourth installments in Lionsgate’s Hunger Games franchise.

Lawrence has been vocal about her love of comedies. In an interview with Jimmy Fallon, Lawrence said that Dumb and Dumber was among her favorite comedies.

The film was released on December 16, 1994. While initial reception towards Dumb and Dumber was mixed, it was a commercial success and has developed a cult following in the years since.
