Christopher Nolan‘s Dunkirk (2017) teaser trailer entitled ‘announcement trailer’ stars Tom Hardy, Cillian Murphy, Mark Rylance, Kenneth Branagh, and Harry Styles. Dunkirk’s plot synopsis: “Miraculous evacuation of Allied soldiers from Belgium, Britain and France, who were cut off and surrounded by the German army from the beaches and harbor of Dunkirk, France, between May 27- June 04, 1940, during Battle of France in World War II.”

The Dunkirk announcement trailer is full of escalating tension. The Dunkirk teaser trailer does not show the source of the tension in the promo. It shows the reaction tension source on the faces of soldiers on the beach of  Dunkirk, France.

The large scale film will be shot on a combination of IMAX 65mm and 65mm large format film photography for maximum image quality and high impact immersion. Shooting will utilize many of the real locations of true-life events, which form the background for the story.

Dunkirk also stars James D’Arcy, Aneurin Barnard, Jack Lowden, Bobby Lockwood, Barry Keoghan, Miranda Nolan, Adam Long, and Bradley Hall.
