EXTANT: Season 1, Episode 13: Ascension: TV Show Trailer & Clip [CBS]

Halle Berry Extant Ascension

TV show TrailerClip for CBSExtant episodeAscension.’ The season finale of Extant takes Molly (Halle Berry) back into space, where she will finally confront the Star Spore specter of former love, Marcus (Sergio Harford), the much more tangible threat posed by Katie Sparks (Tessa Ferrer), and – provided she could squeeze it into a really hectic schedule – save Humanity from the Seraphim space station, itself. She might also get to save its current custodian, Sean Glass (Enver Gjokaj), but let’s lump him in with the rest of mankind, for the moment.

Before any of that, however, there is the matter of her own Star Spore offspring (Shannon Brown), already on Earth, and the fallout over his first meeting with android sibling, Ethan (Pierce Gagnon). Ethan’s experience, thus far has been as an only child, and it seems the considerations extended to the Star Child has left him troubled enough to be sidetracked from his path to Robot Messiah. It is then left to Molly to explain the basic biologic of sibling rivalry.
