FANTASTIC FOUR: John Krasinski Interested In Playing Mr. Fantastic

John Krasinski Wants To Play Mr. Fantastic In Fantastic Four Film

The Office star John Krasinski says that he would like to play Mr. Fantastic in a potential Fantastic Four reboot.

While Krasinski is primarily known for his role as the slacker Jim Halpert on the aforementioned workplace sitcom, he has been appearing in any number of big screen productions as of late. Most recently, he has a starring role with his wife Emily Blunt in the thriller A Quiet Place.

Mr. Fantastic is not the Marvel character Krasinski has been floated as a possible actor for, however. At one point, he was apparently considered for the role of Captain America before Chris Evans was picked. Fans will likely get a chuckle at the two sharing screen time in the event that Krasinski is cast and the Fantastic Four crossover with the Avengers.

Cbr.com quotes Krasinski as saying the following about playing Mr. Fantastic:

“Oh yeah, the Fantastic Four. I would love that! I mean listen, I’m still getting into the whole superhero thing. I didn’t read comics as a kid, not as many, I read some but not as much, but I’m a huge superhero fan so yeah, I’d love to do something like that,” Krasinksi told ScreenRant. “If they’re are any left, a lot of these have been taken but the ones that are left, yeah, I would love to do something like that.
