FAST FIVE: Behind-the-Scenes Featurettes: Dwayne Johnson, Vin Diesel

Dwayne Johnson, Vin Diesel, Fast Five

Two Fast Five Behind the Scenes Featurettes have premiered. Dwayne Johnson, Vin Diesel, Justin Lin, Paul Walker, and others in these featurettes talk about what this 2011 The Fast and the Furious film brings to table in terms of cast, characters, and storyline. The coolest part of the first featurette, A Look Inside,  is that the viewer learns that Dwayne Johnson and Vin Deisel have a hand-to-hand combat fight of the same grandeur scale of the one present in Universal Soldier: Regeneration between Jean-Claude Van Damme and Dolph Lundgren. The second featurette, And…Action!, is basically a montage of action sequences seen from the film crew’s perspective and multiple angles of some shots. I wish I had not seen some of it because it ruins the allusion of some of the film’s stunts. We previously posted the Fast Five (2011) Movie Trailer and Fast Five (2011) Movie Trailer 2. The film also stars Jordana Brewster, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, Tyrese Gibson, Sung Kang, Gal Gadot, Matt Schulze, Tego Calderon, Don Omar, Elsa Pataky, and Joaquim de AlmeidaFast Five’s plot synopsis: “Former cop Brian O’Conner (Paul Walker) partners with ex-con Dom Toretto (Vin Diesel) on the opposite side of the law. Since Brian and Mia Toretto (Jordana Brewster) broke Dom out of custody, they’ve blown across many borders to elude authorities. Now backed into a corner in Rio de Janeiro, they must pull one last job in order to gain their freedom. As they assemble their elite team of top racers, the unlikely allies know their only shot of getting out for good means confronting the corrupt businessman who wants them dead. But he’s not the only one on their tail. Hard-nosed federal agent Luke Hobbs (Dwayne Johnson) never misses his target. When he is assigned to track down Dom and Brian, he and his strike team launch an all-out assault to capture them. But as his men tear through Brazil, Hobbs learns he can’t separate the good guys from the bad. Now, he must rely on his instincts to corner his prey… before someone else runs them down first.” Watch the Fast Five behind-the-scenes featurettes below and leave your thoughts on them. Fast Five will be released on April 29 , 2011.
