  • I think this movie will be great, but the death of Walker is going to make marketing a bit of a challenge. It’s always been known as fun, brainless entertainment but it’s hard to work death into that. I’d ask a bunch of questions to Diesel though.

  • The movie, because of Walker’s Death, has had multi-million dollar press that the studio did not have to pay for (outside of the script re-writes, scheduling, etc.) on networks and TV shows that would never advertise a car racing film.

The film will do big numbers in-theater.

  • That’s true. In a way, Walker’s death has helped the movie a great deal with publicity. Each one makes more money than the last, so this one should easily beat cross $200 million.
