Fear The Walking Dead Revealed as Title for Spinoff and Teaser Trailer. With the fifth season of The Walking Dead behind us, we will be turning our heads to the show’s upcoming spinoff, which will be called Fear The Walking Dead. Along with the title, we also have a teaser trailer.

The Walking Dead creator Robert Kirkman first gave the news on his Twitter Page regarding the title of the companion series. He tweeted, “IT’S OFFICIAL! The walking dead companion show on AMC is called FEAR THE WALKING DEAD! Expect more news very soon!” Kirkman revealed earlier that the series will serve as a prequel to the original series but will eventually catch up with the current timeline of The Walking Dead.

After the season finale of The Walking Dead, AMC gave viewers a teaser trailer for the upcoming spinoff, which revealed that it takes place in Los Angeles during the start of zombie outbreak. The series will star Cliff Curtis, Kim Dickens, Frank Dillane, and Alycia Debnam Carey.

Fear The Walking Dead’s first six-episode season will premiere this summer with the already ordered second season to debut in 2016.
