All The Old Knives

Deadline reports that Chris Pine and Michelle Williams are both in the middle of negotiations to join the cast of All The Old Knives. The film is based on the spy thriller of the same name by author Olen Steinhauer, who also wrote The Tourist. No director has been attached to the project, although The Theory of Everything‘s James Marsh is currently in talks for it.

The Little Stranger

Deadline says that Ruth Wilson has been cast in the paranormal war film The Little Stranger. She will act alongside Domhnall Gleeson in the planned movie, which will be the next project from Room director Lenny Abrahamson.


Deadline reports that Kate Beckinsale, Damson Idis, and Gugu Mbatha-Raw have all been cast in roles in Farming. The movie tells the story of director Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje’s working class childhood in the United Kingdom.

Brampton’s Own

Deadline reports that Alex Russell and Rose McIver will star in the planned romantic drama Brampton’s Own. The movie is set to be directed by Michael Doneger.

Sharp Objects

Deadline says that David Sullivan, Reagan Pasternak, Sydney Sweeney, and Hilary Ward will play recurring roles in HBO‘s Sharp Objects.
