Beauty and the Beast 2, Star Trek: Discovery, Arrow, and other films and TV shows have made recent casting news.

Beauty and the Beast 2 reports that Emma Watson has said she would love to do a follow-up to Beauty and the Beast. Speaking to Access Hollywood, the Harry Potter series star said she envisioned Belle as becoming a teacher who organized the Beast’s library and made it accessible to her fellow villagers.

Star Trek: Discovery

Superherohype says that Star Trek: Discovery has added a number of actors to its cast. Among those announced are Shazad Latif, Rekha Sharma, Kenneth Mitchell, Clare McConnell, and Damon Runyan.

Latif’s involvement with the series was previously confirmed. However, the role he was originally assigned to, the Klingon officer Kol, was given to Mitchell, with him being reassigned to the role of Lieutenant Tyler.

Arrow reports that John Barrowman will not return for the sixth season of Arrow. The Doctor Who alum is said to made the announcement at Kansas City’s Planet Comicon.

The Nun

Deadline reports that Jonas Bloquet will joins the cast of The Nun. The Elle actor will play an unknown role in the Conjuring spin-off.

Hotel Artemis

Variety says that Sofia Boutella will play a role in Hotel Artemis. She will act alongside Jodie Foster.
