Dacre Montgomery has been cast as the Red Ranger in the “Power Rangers” movie

“Project Almanac” filmmaker Dean Israelite will direct the “Power Rangers” movie from a script by Ashley Miller and Zack Stentz,

The official “Power Rangers” Twitter account wrote: “Every #PowerRangers squad needs a leader. Welcome Dacre Montgomery as the Red Ranger in the 2017 #PowerRangersMovie!”

Ludi Lin as the Black Ranger for its upcoming “Power Rangers” movie. The studio made the announcement Thursday on Twitter and Instagram. Meet @Ludi_Lin who is morphing into the Black Ranger in the #PowerRangers Movie!

Baby Driver

Jon Hamm is set to embrace his inner villain and join Ansel Elgort, Lily James and Jamie Foxx in Edgar Wright‘s “Baby Driver,” TheWrap has learned.

Elgort (“The Fault In Our Stars”) plays a talented getaway driver who is coerced into working for a crime boss and finds himself in over his head.

Hamm will play a villain who is part of a gang of bank robbers.

The Boy Downstairs

Zosia Mamet (Girls) and Deirdre O’Connell (The Affair) have been set to star in The Boy Downstairs…written and being directed by Sophie Brooks. Mamet stars as a woman who moves back to New York City after a failed experiment of life in Europe and inadvertently moves into her ex-boyfriend’s apartment building, quickly reopening old wounds. Matthew Shear and Diana Irvine also star.

Joey Lauren Adams is set as the female lead opposite Billy Ray Cyrus in CMT’s upcoming single-camera comedy series Still The King.

Adams will play Debbie Lynn Cook, a fiery and feisty single mother who lives with her unemployed younger boyfriend, Ronnie, and teenage daughter, Charlotte. Her life is turned upside down when [Vernon Brown, AKA “Burnin’ Vernon” (Billy Ray Cyrus)] unexpectedly crashes back into her life, 15 years after their one-night stand produced Charlotte.

The Bleeder

Elisabeth Moss has been cast as boxer Chuck Wepner’s second wife in The Bleeder…Moss will play Wepner’s second wife, Phyllis. They were together when he fought Ali.
