Tomb Raider

Daisy Ridley has officially entered into talks to play the lead character, Lara Croft, in the reboot for the video-game-to-film series.

Daisy “said there ‘have been conversations’ about her picking up the Lara Croft reins left by Angelina Jolie, but she has not been offered the role. ‘I’m waiting for someone to say ‘I want you, let’s do it’,’ she said, adding that there wasn’t a script for the film yet.”

To the Bone

Lily Collins has been cast in the lead role for the Marti Noxon directed / written film about anorexia.

Letters From Rosemary

Emma Stone has been cast Rose Marie “Rosemary” Kennedy in the Black List script written by Nick Yarborough.

Rosemary was:

first born daughter to Rose Fitzgerald and Joseph Kennedy, Sr., and the eldest sister of President John F. Kennedy and senators Robert F. Kennedy and Ted Kennedy. After displaying behavioral problems that caused her to fall behind accolades of her siblings due to a mental disability that was long kept secret, Joseph Kennedy arranged one of the first prefrontal lobotomies for her at age 23.

The film will focus on the circumstances leading up to and after the lobotomy.
