Jessica Buchanan Biopic

Clint Eastwood may direct a biopic film about humantarian aid worker Jessica Buchanan’s rescue by Navy SEAL Team 6. Brian Helgeland is writing the screenplay, based on autobiography by Buchanan.


Lucy Fry has been cast in David Ayer’s Bright as an elf named Tikka. Tikka comes into possession of a magic wand that Will Smith and Joel Edgerton must keep out of the hands of the villains in the film. Max Landis wrote the script to Bright.

Alita: Battle Angel

Lana Condor has been cast as Koyomi K. in the Robert Rodriguez-directed and James Cameron-produced science-fiction film. Koyomi K. is an orphan that grows up in the scrapyard that amnesiac female cyborg Altia is found in.

The Predator

Boyd Holbrook is in talks to star in the science fiction action film reboot. Shane Black is directing the film. The script was written by Fred Dekker.

Pacific Rim 2

Ivanna Sakhno has been cast in sequel film in an unspecified role. Ivanna Sakhno joins John Boyega, Scott Eastwood, Jing Tian, Cailee Spaeny and Adria Arjona. The film will be directed Steven S. DeKnight.


Justin Theroux has been cast in an unspecified role. Justin Theroux joins Paul Rudd, Alexander Skarsgard and Sam Rockwell. The film will be directed by Duncan Jones. The script was written Duncan Jones and Mike Johnson.
