Fast and Furious 8

Charlize Theron has been offered the villain role in The Fast and the Furious 8.  The actresses current rescheduling may make adding the film to her shooting schedule possible.

The Death and Life of John F. Donovan

Thandie Newton, Natalie Portman, and Nicholas Hoult have been cast in the film.

Adele will cameo in the film.

The Invisible Man

Johnny Depp cast been cast as the star of the film with Ed Solomon writing the screenplay. Depp will by Griffin a.k.a. The Invisible Man, a scientist studying optics and refraction. Griffin discovers a way to “change a body’s refractive index to that of air so that it absorbs and reflects no light and thus becomes invisible.” After running the procedure on himself and turning himself invisible, he is unable to turn himself visible again.

My Saga

Alexander Payne will direct the film about the journey of the Vikings across the United States’ northern region, a route traced by writer Karl Ove Knausgaard and photographer Peter van Agtmael.

Thank You For Your Service

Amy Schumer has been cast in the film about soldiers returning home but will not be playing a soldier.

We Monsters

Veena Sud with write the U.S. remake script for this film about two parents concealing the crime of their daughter. The original was released in Germany.

Heavy Duty

Josh Gad has been cast in the film written by Dan Hernandez and Benji Samit about a weight-lose hopeful who is put to the test at a retreat.

The Last Word

Anne Heche, Scott Speedman, Tom Everett Scott, and Philip Baker Hall have been cast with Mark Pellington directing from a script by Stuart Ross Fink.

“Heche will play [Shirley MacLaine]’s estranged daughter, while Hall will play [Shirley MacLaine]’s ex-husband. Speedman will co-star as a local DJ, and Scott will play the editor of the local newspaper.”

Office Uprising

Ian Harding has been cast in the zombie film directed by Steven C. Miller and written Ian Shorr and Peter Gamble.

The Ice Twins

Isaac Adamson will write the film adaptation of S.K. Tremayne book of the same title about twin sisters and how disturbed one of them becomes after the death of their identical sibling.

Collateral Beauty

Keira Knightley may star in the film directed by David Frankel, written by Allan Loeb.

“The film will feature actors as walking embodiments of Love, Death and Time, with Knightley playing Love.”

The Divergent Series: Ascendant

Robert Schwentke will not be directing the film The Divergent Series. No replacement director has been chosen yet.
