Michael Stuhlbarg is joining Michael Fassbender and Seth Rogen on the Steve Jobs movie that Danny Boyle is directing for Universal Pictures. He’ll play the role of Andy Hertzfeld, the computer scientist and inventor who was part of the original Apple development team that came up with Macintosh Operating System. MGM’s Rocky spinoff Creed has found its female lead in Tessa Thompson

Thompson will star opposite Sylvester Stallone and Michael B. Jordan in the film from Fruitvale Station‘s Ryan Coogler, which will see Stallone reprise his iconic character Rocky Balboa, now a trainer and mentor to the grandson (Jordan) of his boxing bestie Apollo Creed.

Coogler, who scripted with Aaron Covington, teamed with Stallone to pitch the project to MGM and is helming

Jaz Sinclair has joined the cast of Screen Gems’ psychological thriller “When the Bough Breaks” opposite Morris Chestnut and Regina Hall.

Suicide Squad

Viola Davis (How To Get Away With Murder) has bagged the role of major DC Comics villain and Prison Warden Amanda Waller in David Ayer’s upcoming Suicide Squad. In the comics, Amanda Waller is a former congressional aide and government agent often placed in charge of the Suicide Squad, a semi-secret government-run group of former supervillains working in return for amnesty.

Wild For The Night

Michael Roark has been cast in Wild For The Night, an indie thriller directed by Benny Boom. He will play Karl, a former LA street kid who is best friends with Wyatt’s (James Maslow) and works with him to search for his sister’s killer.

Tina Casciani has joined the cast of director Ben Younger’s Vinnie Pazienza biopic Bleed For This. She will play Heather, a love interest for boxing champ Pazienza (Miles Teller).
