Jeffrey Donovan has been cast as John F. Kennedy in Rob Reiner’s LBJ.

President John F. Kennedy, known by “Jack” to his friends, was killed by a gunman when he was only 46 years old on November 22, 1963 in Dallas, giving way to his VP (Johnson) to become the 36th President of the United States, a position that Johnson had always wanted.

Before I Fall

Zoey Deutch has been tapped as the star of Awesomeness Films’ next feature film project Before I Fall…Ry Russo-Young will direct Maria Maggenti’s Black List script, with revisions by Gina Prince-Bythewood. The plot centers on Samantha Kingston (Deutch), a high school senior who finds that she may be living the last day of her life over and over until she gets it right. If you had only one day left on earth who would you kiss, who would you tell the real truth to, who would you save? Amid that, she must untangle the mystery surrounding her death—and discover the true value of everything she is in danger of losing.

Cobie Smulders is also in talks to join the pic.

Ed Zwick is set to direct. Zwick and and Marshall Herskovitz penned the most recent draft of the script after Richard Wenk penned the original draft.

The Revenger

Universal Pictures…has acquired the action comedy pitch The Revenger, with the Night At The Museum scripting team Thomas Lennon and Robert Ben Garant writing for Zombieland‘s Ruben Fleischer to direct and Liam Neeson to star.
