Daniel Bruhl is set to play the villain role in the next Captain America: Civil War, the one that will also bring Robert Downey Jr. and his Iron Man character as central to the conflict of the new film. The third installment, to be directed by Joe and Anthony Russo, brings back Chris Evans and marks the debut of Chadwick Boseman as Black Panther, and Sebastian Stan, who’s back as The Winter Soldier and Anthony Mackie back as The Falcon.

Oppenheimer Strategies

Richard Gere is set to star in Oppenheimer Strategies, an independent film written and to be directed by Joseph Cedar…Pic tells the story of a small-time operator named Norman Oppenheimer who befriends a young politician at a low and lonely moment in his life. Three years later when that politician becomes an influential world leader, Norman’s life dramatically changes. For better. And for worse.

Hail, Caesar!

Christopher Lambert…has joined the all-star cast of Hail, Caesar!, the Hollywood-set period comedy helmed by Joel and Ethan Coen.

Lambert will play Arne Slessum, a married European filmmaker whose ??scandalous affair with a young starlet (Johansson) becomes yet another headache for the studio.

Money Monster

Jack O’Connell and Julia Roberts are in negotiations to co-star with George Clooney in TriStar Pictures’ “Money Monster.”

Clooney stars as Lee Gates, a bombastic television stock huckster, whose program (titled “Money Monster”) and life are taken hostage by an outraged gunman (O’Connell). As the world watches, Gates must stay alive and uncover the truth behind a tangle of big money lies, with help from the show’s producer (Roberts). “Money Monster” unfolds in near real time.
