Shazam!

Zachary Levi has been cast as Shazam, “the alter ego of Billy Batson, a boy who, by speaking the magic word “SHAZAM” (acronym of six “immortal elders”: Solomon, Hercules, Atlas, Zeus, Achilles, and Mercury), can transform himself into a costumed adult with the powers of superhuman strength, speed, flight, and other abilities.”

Henry Gayden and Darren Lemke wrote the script for the David F. Sandberg-directed film.

The Perfection

Allison Williams has been cast in an unspecified role.

The Perfection‘s plot synopsis: “The film tells the story of two cello prodigies and a sinister obsession.”

Richard Shepard, Eric Charmelo, and Nicole Snyder wrote the script for Shepard-directed film.

First Man

Skyler Bible has been cast as astronaut Richard Gordon, “the backup pilot for Armstrong on Gemini 8, a commanding officer for the Apollo 12 mission, and one of the 24 astronauts that have flown to the Moon.”

Bible joins already cast Ryan Gosling, Jason Clarke, Brian D’Arcy, Claire Foy, Pablo Schreiber, Jon Bernthal, and Kyle Chandler.

Josh Singer wrote the script for the Damien Chazelle-directed film. The script is based upon on James R. Hansen’s book.

First Man will be released in U.S. theaters through STXfilms on October 12, 2018.

Second Act

Freddie Strom has been cast as Ron, “an ambitious, competitive executive at a manufacturing company.”

Strom joins already cast Jennifer Lopez, Vanessa Hudgens, Leah Remini, Annaleigh Ashford, and Dan Bucatinsky.

Justin Zackham and Elaine Goldsmith-Thomas wrote the script for the Peter Segal-directed film.

Second Act‘s plot synopsis: Second Act follows “Big Box store employee (Lopez) who gets a second act when she gets the chance to prove to Madison Avenue that street smarts are as valuable as a college degree.”

Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again!

Jonathan Goldsmith has been cast in an unspecified role.

Goldsmith joins already cast Meryl Streep, Julia Walters, Christine Baranski, Amanda Seyfried, Dominic Cooper, Pierce Bronsan, Stellan Skarsgård, Colin Firth, Andy Garcia, Lily James, Jeremy Irvine, and Cher.

Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again!‘s plot synopsis: “The sequel goes back and forth in time to show how relationships forged in the past resonate in the present.”

Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again! will be released in U.S. theaters through Universal Pictures on October 12, 2018.

Snowblind

Karl Urban, Ashley Greene, and Forrest Goodluck have been cast in unspecified roles.

Hank Woon wrote the script for the Marcus Alqueres-directed film.

Snowblind‘s plot synopsis: based on the book by Don Roff, “the pic centers on a U.S. Ranger haunted by painful memories of a family tragedy who becomes stranded with his platoon in a remote chalet in the woods. As they fight for survival and against their own inner demons, they find a box filled with $5 million and a dark, disturbing secret.

Guardian

Matt Barber has been hired to direct the film.

Marc Cubelli and Jaime Zevallos wrote the script for the film.

Guardian‘s plot synopsis: “Guardian centers on a prostitute who befriends a homeless young orphan boy who is building a time machine to travel back in time and rescue his family who perished in a car accident.”
