New Line and Tom Hardy are loading up on 100 Bullets.

Hardy…is on board to produce the adaptation with an eye to star.

The project is already down the line in development, having a script by Chris Borrelli

Running for 100 issues from 1999 to 2009, the acclaimed comic centered on an enigmatic man named Agent Graves as he presents different people, for reasons unknown, with a gun, the identity of the person who ruined their lives … and a hundred rounds of untraceable ammunition.

Cold

Lionsgate has acquired Cold, an original pitch by Bill Marsilii with Reese Witherspoon and Bruna Papandrea producing through their Pacific Standard Films banner. Witherspoon also is attached to star.

The plot is being kept under wraps but has been described as a dark thriller with supernatural elements.

Ready Player One

Steven Spielberg was pursuing Gene Wilder for one of his upcoming projects

Our sources seem to think Spielberg is trying to get Wilder to lend his voice to The BFG (which would be a remarkable return to the world of Roald Dahl for Mr. Wilder), but there’s also another project on Steven’s plate that he’d be perfect for.

Let’s use our pure imaginations for a second and think about how amazing Gene Wilder would be as James Halliday, the creator of the virtual universe OASIS in Ready Player One.
