Agents Of SHIELD, Arrow, X-Men: Dark Phoenix, And Other Film And TV Casting News

Agents of SHIELD, ArrowX-Men: Dark Phoenix, and other films and TV shows have made recent casting news.

These productions come from studios based primarily in the United States. The castings are subject to change.

X-Men: Dark Phoenix

Jessica Chastain says that she is not playing Lilandra in the upcoming superhero film X-Men: Dark Phoenix. It was believed that the Academy Award-nominated Zero Dark Thirty actress would play the Shi’ar Empress because the character’s name was initially listed in the trade reports regarding the production, but Chastain flatly shot the claim down on Instagram.

Arrow

Liam Hall is set to play Joe Wilson in the planned sixth season of Arrow. Hall is known for his roles in Camp and Lucifer. The character he will be playing, of course, is the son of Slade Wilson, better known as Deathstroke the Terminator, the nemesis of Oliver Queen. Reportedly, Wilson will appear as part of a series of flashbacks exploring Slade’s background in what is described as a “two-parter” episode by Arrow executive producer Marc Guggenheim.

Agents Of SHIELD

Nick Blood will reprise the role of Lance Hunter for Season 5 of Agents of SHIELD.

High Life

Juliette Binoche, Andre Benjamin, and Lars Eidinger have all joined High Life.

Nappily Ever After

Camille Guaty will play a supporting role in Nappily Ever After.
