Hellboy, Wonder Woman 2, Star Wars: The Last Jedi, And Other Film And TV Casting News

Hellboy, Wonder Woman 2Star Wars: The Last Jedi, and other films and TV shows have made recent casting news.

These productions come from studios based primarily in the United States. The castings are subject to change.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi

Joseph Gordon-Levitt has been officially confirmed for a role in Star Wars: The Last Jedi. The news was broken by director Rian Johnson, who has cast the Snowden star in all of his films to date. While Levitt’s involvement has been rumored for some time now, it was only confirmed when Johnson announced it at a Q&A event for the film in Japan.

Wonder Woman 2

Patty Jenkins is set to return as director for Wonder Woman 2. Jenkins, of course, helmed the first film, which proved to be massively successful with critics and audiences alike and turned a hefty profit for Warner Bros. As a result of her originally being contracted for just one movie, the Monster director was able to secure a more lucrative deal with the studio for the sequel.

Hellboy

Daniel Dae Kim may replace Ed Skrein in the planned Hellboy reboot.

Bohemian Rhapsody

Mike Myers is in the middle of negotiations to play a role in Bohemian Rhapsody.

Star Wars: Episode IX

Rian Johnson indicates that he may not direct Star Wars: Episode IX.

Falling Water

Brittany Allen will play a recurring role in the second season of Falling Water.
