Bumblebee

Jorge Lendeborg Jr. is in talks to play the lead role in Paramount Pictures’ planned Transformers spin-off Bumblebee. A relative newcomer to the big screen, Lendeborg most recently appeared in a small role in Spider-Man: Homecoming as well as the upcoming Brigsby Bear. If he ends up joining the film, he will act opposite Hailee Steinfield.

Best Day Of My Life

Renee Zellweger and Common have both signed on to the upcoming drama Best Day of My Life. Starring Sarah Jessica Parker, the film tells the story of a New York jazz vocalist who gets a life-changing medical diagnosis and is forced to change her life over the course of 24 hours.

Luke Cage

Lucy Liu is set to direct the first episode of Luke Cage‘s second season. Although she is known primarily as an actress, Liu has previously directed episodes for Elementary, a series in which she also stars. The Netflix superhero show is slated to resume sometime in 2018.

Six

Olivia Munn has been cast as Gina in season 2 of History’s Six.

Harrow

Ioan Gruffudd is ready to star in ABC’s Harrow.
