Spawn

Todd MacFarlane would like to cast Leonardo DiCaprio in the upcoming adaptation of his comic series Spawn. The director says that he envisions the Wolf of Wall Street star as the character Twitch. Originally debuting in 1992, the comic followed the story of a black ops squad member who was killed by his partners and resurrected as a supernatural hellspawn.

One Day She’ll Darken

Chris Pine will play a role in Patty Jenkins’ planned World War I TV drama One Day She’ll Darken. The two, of course, previously worked together on Warner Bros’ Wonder Woman. Set to start production this coming fall, the TNT series will explore the notorious Black Dahlia murders.

Old Man

Samuel L. Jackson is set to star in the planned action thriller program Old Man. Jackson is widely recognized for his roles in such high-profile projects like Pulp Fiction and the Avengers franchise. Old Man will be produced by Jonathan E. Steinberg, who served as a co-creator on Black Sails.

Skyscraper

Pablo Schreiber will appear in the Dwayne Johnson feature Skyscraper.

Untitled Morning Show Project

Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon have joined an untitled series about morning talk shows from HBO alum Michael Ellenberg.
