The Souvenir

Deadline reports that Twilight Saga star Robert Pattinson has been cast in a major role in the upcoming romantic mystery film The Souvenir. The film, which is set to be directed by Joanna Hogg, will also feature Martin Scorsese as an executive producer.

DuckTales says that Lin-Manuel Miranda will lend his voice as Gizmoduck to Disney XD‘s upcoming animated series DuckTales. The casting is part of a larger move to film and television for Miranda, with the Hamilton writer also lending his songwriting talents to Moana and being set to appear in Mary Poppins Returns.

Resistance reports that Academy Award-nominated Social Network actor Jesse Eisenberg will play the role of Marcel Marceau in Resistance. The film will follow the legendary mime’s work with the French resistance during the Nazi occupation of his country.

At Eternity’s Gate

Deadline says that Willem Dafoe has been cast as Vincent Van Gogh in Julian Schnabel’s planned film At Eternity’s Gate. The planned historical drama will be shot on location in France.

You Can Choose Your Family

Deadline reports that Anna Gunn has joined the cast of You Can Choose Your Family. She will appear alongside Jim Gaffigan in the upcoming comedy film.
