Alan Arkin has been cast in Tim Burton’s upcoming remake of Dumbo. The Academy Award-winning Little Miss Sunshine actor will play the role of Wall Street tycoon J. Griffin Remington in the live-action take on the Disney classic. With 55 years worth of film credits, Arkin has appeared in a litany of productions ranging from 60’s comedies like The Russians Are Coming, The Russians Are Coming to such recent movies as Ben Affleck’s historical drama Argo.

Locke & Key

Frances O’Connor is set to play the lead role in Hulu’s planned series Locke & Key. Previously, O’Connor has appeared in such movies as AI Artificial Intelligence and The Conjuring 2. Based on the IDW comic series of the same name, the show will see The Strain‘s Carlton Cuse serve as an executive producer and showrunner.

Shades Of Blue

Bruce McGill is slated to appear in a recurring role in Shades of Blue.

Angry Angel

Brenda Song and Jason Biggs are set to star in Freeform’s planned Christmas movie Angry Angel.

Tsunami LA

Simon West has been tapped to serve as the director of the proposed action film Tsunami LA.
