The Flash, Avengers 4, Doctor Doom, And Other Film And TV Casting News

The Flash, Avengers 4Doctor Doom, and other films and TV shows have made recent casting news.

These productions come from studios based primarily in the United States. The castings are subject to change.

Doctor Doom

Mads Mikkelsen says that he is still interested in playing Doctor Doom on the big screen. The topic came up when the actor, who previously auditioned for a role in the 2015 Fantastic Four reboot and appeared in last year’s Doctor Strange, was asked if he had heard anything about the planned solo film revolving around the Marvel villain from Noah Hawley. Mikkelsen didn’t say whether he was cast in the movie or not, but he expressed hope that it would feature a more “rounded” take on the character.

Avengers 4

Josh Brolin confirms that he will be back as Thanos in the follow-up to Avengers: Infinity War. It was  speculated by some that the upcoming superhero crossover would mark the cosmic villain’s final appearance in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, a claim that the star’s comments effectively put to rest.

The Flash

Hartley Sawyer is set to play The Elongated Man in the fourth season of The Flash. Sawyer has previously acted in such productions as Saving the Human Race and Miss 2059.

Bumblebee

John Cena has been added to the cast of the upcoming Transformers spin-off Bumblebee.

Jessica Jones

J.R. Ramirez has signed on to Netflix’s superhero series Jessica Jones.
