Judge Dredd: Mega City One

Karl Urban reveals that he is in the middle of negotiations to star in Judge Dredd: Mega City One. Urban broke the news at a Star Trek convention where he said that he had been approached about reprising his role as Judge Dredd for the planned series. No network has picked up the program yet, although Netflix is said to be interested.

X-Men: Dark Phoenix

Kota Eberhardt and Scott Sheperd have reportedly been added to the cast of X-Men: Dark Phoenix. The two actors are said to play a character named Luna and Jean Grey’s father respectively. Additionally, Toad and Ink are also rumored to return after their appearances in Days of Future Past.

The Lion King

Alfre Woodard will lend her voice as Simba’s mother Sarabi in The Lion King.


Rebecca Thomas will serve as director of the upcoming action film Malignant.

Ad Astra

Ruth Negga is slated to act alongside Brad Pitt and Tommy Lee Jones in the planned sci-fi film Ad Astra.
