X-Men, Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them 2, Captain Marvel And Other Film And TV Casting News

X-Men, Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them 2, Captain Marvel, and other films and TV shows have made recent casting news.

These productions come from studios based primarily in the United States. The castings are subject to change.

Captain Marvel

Samuel L. Jackson is rumored to be set to appear as Nick Fury in the planned superhero film Captain Marvel. More specifically, he is said to play a supporting role rather than a cameo similar to his appearances at the end of Iron Man and Captain America: The First Avenger. Of course, Marvel has offered no confirmation for the story, but the report will likely bolster previous claims that the SHIELD director will appear in the movie.

Famke Janssen announces that she is ready to hang up her mantle as Jean Grey in 20th Century Fox’s X-Men franchise. The actress explained at the Denver Comic Con that while she is “very grateful” for having the chance to play the mutant telepath, she “think[s] [she’s] done” with the role.

Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them 2

Jude Law, Zoe Kravitz, Callum Turner, and Claudia Kim are all set to appear in Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find them 2. Law will portray a young version of the Harry Potter universe’s Albus Dumbledore.

Matthew Lewis, Anthony Head, Daisy Head, and Chris Fountain have been cast in ITV‘s Girlfriends.
