Lady Bird

Focus Features has obtained international rights to Greta Gerwig’s Lady Bird. This means that they will distribute the film everywhere outside North America, where A24 will handle distribution. The directorial debut of Gerwig, the movie stars Saoirse Ronan as a rebellious teenager attending a Catholic high school where she comes into conflict with peers and teachers alike.

Vigilance

Lionsgate has picked up distribution rights to the upcoming thriller Vigilance in the US. The film has Academy Award-winning Gravity actress Sandra Bullock set to star, with her being attached to the project when it was still known by the name Cash Truck. Drawing inspiration from the French film Le Convoyeur, the movie will be directed by Josef Wladyka and based on a screenplay by Ethan Erwin, Albert Hughes, and John Hodge.

Suffer The Little Children

Stephen King‘s short story Suffer the Little Children is to be adapted into a feature film.

Kodachrome

Netflix has picked up the Ed Harris drama Kodachrome.

Andi Mack

The Disney Channel has slated the second season of its sitcom Andi Mack for an October 27th premiere.
