The Flash Comics

Director Rick Famuyiwa Does Intense Research for The Flash. Director Rick Famuyiwa has hit the ground running for The Flash standalone film. To prove that he’s hard at work, Famuyiwa gave fans a peak at the research he is doing to bring the Scarlett Speedster to the big screen.

It wasn’t that long ago that Warner Bros. and DC announced that Rick Famuyiwa would be standing in as director of The Flash after Seth Grahame-Smith left the project. With the Dope director hard at work, he expressed his excitement for working on the film by sharing it on social media. The director gave fans a glimpse at the research he’s doing with an Instagram pic of a bunch of comics starring the Fastest Man Alive.

Among this huge pile of comics are some that fans may recognize. A few of them include the storylines from The Flash: Rebirth, New 52, and The Flash: The Road to Flashpoint. It appears that Famuyiwa is going deep into the mythology of The Flash, and based on this selection of comics he’s shown here, we might be seeing Barry Allen’s (Ezra Miller) story build up to the Flashpoint Paradox.

Audiences already got a glimpse of time travel from The Flash during Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. It’s possible we might see the speedster change the entire DCEU timeline. What do you guys think we might see in The Flash film?
