THE FLASH: Barry to Start Forgetting His Powers in Season Three [The CW]

Grant Gustin The Flash Season Three Flashpoint

Barry May Soon Forget His Powers in Season Three of The Flash. Time will apparently not be on Barry Allen’s (Grant Gustin) side when The Flash returns. The effects after saving his mother will change Barry’s world and himself when he inhabits the new timeline.

Once we see Barry in season three, viewers will find our Scarlet Speedster getting used to his new life with his revived family after altering the timeline to save his mother last season. As most of us know, good things never last; especially with Barry no matter how hard he tries. Grant Gustin recently spoke with DC All Access where he provided some details on how the new timeline will affect Barry and everything that has happened to him in the past two seasons.

Barry’s the only one who knows that the timeline is different and his memories are gradually being replaced by memories of graduating high school and college, his moments with his family, and when he realizes that those memories are replacing other memories, that’s when he starts to realize how selfish of a decision this was.

Memory loss will be the least of his worries because Barry may also be losing his powers as well. “It means he’s forgetting his powers, too. He’s having a full Back to the Future moment, his hand disappearing in front of him,” Gustin said.
