THE FLASH: Gorilla Grodd to Return with Two-Part Gorilla City Episode [The CW]

Gorilla City The Flash

Gorilla Grodd Returns for Two-Part Episode on Third Season of The Flash. The big gorilla is making his return to The Flash when Gorilla Grodd comes back in the superhero series’ third season in a two-part episode, which will introduce viewers to Gorilla City.

We last saw Gorilla Grodd sent through a portal by Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) to Earth-2’s Gorilla City. Fans may know this place as the location where Gorilla Grodd forms his army of intelligent gorillas against Earth. According to Collider, Gorilla Grodd’s plan for human extinction is about to make it’s way into the third season of The Flash. Speaking with Collider, EP Andrew Kreisberg offered a tease: “Yes, we’re going to be doing a two-part episode that takes place in Gorilla City.”

With Barry changing the timeline to form the Flashpoint universe, it’s possible that Gorilla City may end up on Earth-1. Gorilla Grodd had a storyline in the Flashpoint arc in the comics where he ended up not just taking over the ape-filled city but also the entire continent of Africa with his army. Will we be seeing a Flashpoint version of the character or are we going to see him in Earth-2 again? We don’t really know what will happen, but leave us your theories on what you think might happen.
