The Flash To Introduce Gypsy in Season Three

A member of the Justice League will be lending a hand to Barry (Grant Gustin) and Team Flash when The Flash returns for the second half of season three. Apparently, actor Carlos Valdes who plays Cisco on the show just revealed that Gypsy would be making an appearance down the line.

In an interview during an installment of The CW’s Fan Fest, Carlos said that Cindy Reynolds will be introduced during the new year when the show returns. “There’s going to be a new visitor to our world named Gypsy,” said Valdes. “DC Comics fans will be familiar with Gypsy. She is going to be coming in our world and Vibe will definitely get to learn some new skills as part of getting to know her. So I’m excited to see how that plays out.” So it looks like we may be getting the New 52 version of the character based on what Carlos said here. If that’s the case, we may see Gypsy as a runaway from another dimension. Dimensions are something that is Cisco’s specialty, so it will be interesting to see how that plays out.

Based on the comics, Gypsy can turn invisible, create illusions, and see the future. We don’t know who will be playing her yet, but her unique powers should make her a great addition to the team. With Vibe and Gypsy together, could we see some variation of the Justice League Detroit division? What do you guys think of her being on the show?
