THE FLASH: Season Three Trailer Reveals Flashpoint Storyline [The CW]

Grant Gustin The Flash Season Three Trailer

Trailer for Season Three of The Flash Shows Flashpoint Plot. When The Flash returns this fall, it’s going to feel like a totally different show based on the first trailer for the upcoming third season. The only question is, how will everyone change in this new world?

During the last season finale of The CW hit series, viewers saw Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) go back in time to save his mother from Reverse-Flash (Matt Letscher), which caused a change in the timeline. When season three opens, Barry will wake up to find that he’s in a new alternate timeline where his parents have survived, but his friends and colleagues won’t remember him. The only thing that remains is his speed and that he’s still working for the CCPD with Joe West (Jesse L. Martin) who barely even talks to him. Not even Iris (Candice Patton) recognizes him. On top of that, Cisco Ramon (Carlos Valdes) is now a self-obsessed billionaire and Wally West (Keiynon Lonsdale) has become Kid Flash.

In the rest of the trailer that was shown at San Diego Comic Con, a new evil speedster makes an appearance, meaning that Barry’s troubles are far from over in this new timeline. So we can expect to see the famous Flashpoint storyline from the comics playing out on the show in the new season.
