THE FOREIGNER (2017) Movie Trailer 2: Jackie Chan Hunts His Daughter’s Killers

The Foreigner Trailer 2

The second movie trailer for The Foreigner (2017) has been released by STX Entertainment. The Foreigner is a film that looks better with each trailer released for the film. I’d heard that Jackie Chan had retired from doing his own stunts because of age but its looks as though that was only partially true. Chan retired from doing 90-100% of his own stunts. He still does some of them. Some of those stunts were on display in the previous trailer and in this trailer.

This The Foreigner trailer makes it pretty clear whose side Liam Hennessy (Pierce Brosnan) is on in the film. I wish the trailer didn’t make it clear but it wasn’t hidden very well in the original trailer for this film.

The Foreigner‘s ploy synopsis: based on the book by Stephen Leather, “The film tells the story of humble London businessman Quan (Chan), whose long-buried past erupts in a revenge-fueled vendetta when the only person left for him to love — his teenage daughter — is taken from him in a senseless act of politically-motivated terrorism.

In his relentless search for the identity of the terrorists, Quan is forced into a cat- and-mouse conflict with a British government official (Brosnan), whose own past may hold clues to the identities of the elusive killers.”

The Foreigner also stars Stephen Hogan, Dermot Crowley, Dermot Crowley, Roberta Taylor, Bern Collaco, Mark Tandy, Lasco Atkins, Dilyana Bouklieva, Charlie Murphy, Katie Leung, Michael McElhatton, Orla Brady, Rory Fleck Byrne, Simon Kunz, and Pippa Bennett-Warner.
