The Free World Trailer and Clip

Jason Lew‘s The Free World (2016) movie trailer and movie clip star Elisabeth Moss, Boyd Holbrook, Sue-Lynn Ansari, Octavia Spencer, and Sung Kang. The Free World‘s plot synopsis: “How hard would you fight to be free? After spending two decades in prison for a crime he didn’t commit, Mo (Boyd Holbrook) struggles to put his past behind him as he readjusts to a new life working in an animal shelter. Doris (Elisabeth Moss) is trapped in another sort of prison: an abusive marriage. A dramatic encounter brings these two troubled souls together, and a possible murder connects them. Soon, Mo finds himself risking everything—including being locked up once again for someone else’s crime—to protect the fragile Doris.”

This film seems to house the best acting by Boyd Holbrook and Elisabeth Moss to date. The acting in this trailer is really impressive. Viewers of Narcos and Mad Men already knew that both leads could carry scenes by themselves. Together they seem to create magic in all the right ways. It was very moving to see that two decades in prison had not driven out the good in Mo.

The Free World also stars Waleed Zuaiter, Vivian Fleming-Alvarez, James Moses Black, Jean Claude Leuyer, and Jon Arthur.
