GAME OF THRONES: Season 3: 12 New Characters List

Game of Thrones Season 3 New Characters. The Game of Thrones: Season 3 new characters list names 12 of the new characters to be added to the surviving characters from the season finale of the previous season. Many of these characters I thought should have been included in this season, some were mentioned like Roose Bolton’s bastard son at the Dreadfort, Ramsay Snow (not on this list but certainly will be on future ones, I hope), Lady Selyse Florent, Shireen, The Blackfish, Edmure Tully, and Mance Ryder. They and others are finally getting the screen time they deserve.

The Game of Thrones: Season 3 12 new characters list:

Ser Brynden “The Blackfish” Tully: Catelyn’s Stark’s uncle.

Edmure Tully: A brash young member of the Tully family.

Mance Rayder: The former member of the Night’s Watch who became the leader of the Wildlings and “King Beyond the Wall”.

Daario Naharis: A confident and seductive warrior.

Myranda Royce: A young lady who lives in a great castle called The Gates of the Moon

Jojen Reed and Meera Reed: A teenage Crannogman brother and sister duo said to have “special insights”. They are the children of Stark bannerman, Howland Reed.

Lady Selyse Florent: Stannis Baratheon’s wife.

Shireen: Stannis’ young daughter.

Olenna Redwyne (The Queen of Thorns): Margaery Tyrell’s sharp-witted grandmother.

Beric Dondarrion: A skilled knight who is the leader of the outlaw group called Brotherhood Without Banners.

Thoros of Myr: A red priest who follows the same religion as Melisandre.

Tormund Giantsbane: A Wildling raider.

Season 3 of Game of Thrones will be based on the novel A Storm of Swords, the third book in George R.R. Martin‘s A Song of Ice and Fire series. Three of new characters have already been cast.

As for casting, all we know right now is that Clive Russell will play Black Fish, Charlotte Hope will portray Myranda and Kerry Ingram will be Shireen.

Nathalie Emmanuel has been cast as an unrevealed character that will appear in episode six of season 3.

Season 1 of Game of Thrones starred Sean Bean, Mark Addy, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Michelle Fairley, Lena Headey, Emilia Clarke, Iain Glen, Aidan Gillen, Harry Lloyd, Kit Harington, Sophie Turner, Maisie Williams, Richard Madden, Alfie Allen, Isaac Hempstead-Wright, Jack Gleeson, Rory McCann, Peter Dinklage, Gethin Anthony, Conleth Hill, and Jason Momoa.

Season 2 cast additions included Simon Armstrong, Rose Leslie, Tony Way, Andy Beckwith, John Stahl, Steven Cole, Nicholas Blane, Stephen Dillane, Gwendoline Christie, Nonso Anozie, Karl Davies, Tom Wlaschiha, Oona Chaplin, Liam Cunningham, Gemma Whelan, Natalie Dormer, Michael McElhatton, Robert Pugh, Hannah Murray, Oliver Ford Davies, Carice van Houten, Roy Dotrice, Ben Crompton, Laura Pradelska, Forbes KB, and Patrick Malahide.
