Game of Thrones Season 5 Promo, Featurette Information, and IMAX Trailer. The long anticipated wait for HBO‘s Game of Thrones: Season 5 is almost over. In the meantime, HBO will be airing a special presentation for fans of the show. Game of Thrones: A Day in the Life will kickoff on February 8, 2015 at 7:30PM and last two episodes of Season 4 will be available in IMAX theaters from January 29, 2015 to February 5, 2015. A new Season 5 teaser trailer has also been released

The half hour long event covers one day of season 5 production on three different Thrones sets in three different countries – Belfast, Northern Ireland; Dubrovnik, Croatia; Sevilla and Osuna, Spain. Various crew members will be followed and viewers will see “the epic sets, renowned cast and global scale of Thrones, as well as the more intimate and individual challenges of our subjects, giving the audience a new perspective on one of the most elaborate productions in television history.”

Sue the Fury: It’s great to know the featurette is actually that long, and not a misleading number on the schedule. I’m hoping we’ll get some cast moments in there, since the EW report doesn’t mention anything about that. The creation of the show is always fascinating to see but of course, I’d love to see some actual footage from the show, or at least parts of scenes.

Even actress Maisie Williams is fired up about the much anticipated season 5 and hinted at major changes for her character Arya Stark. According to Maisia, “we’re coming to the end now, and I don’t know what they’re going to do next year. It’s the end of Arya, as far as anyone knows,” she told the Guardian while giving an interview for her new film Cyber Bully. Don’t let this sour your day, they aren’t about to signal the death of Arya, who is still alive in George R.R. Martin’s books. In the meantime, February 8^th is a date to look forward to for fans of the show. We’ll be tuning in.
