GHOST RIDER: Gabriel Luna Says Spin-off is Being Discussed

Ghost Rider Agents of SHIELD Spin-Off

Ghost Rider Spin-off Being Discussed By Marvel

Gabriel Luna’s Robbie Reyes may have been the best thing to come out of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. this season, so it’s only a matter of time before Marvel sees some potential in Ghost Rider that they may be willing to give him his own spin-off somewhere down the road.

When Ghost Rider was first announced to be a part of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., fans were a little worried how the Spirit of Vengeance would be portrayed in the small screen. However, as the fourth season aired it’s first few episodes, people have admitted that Robbie Reyes was a great addition to the show. Now they are demanding that the character get his own solo series, maybe even on Netflix.

Talking with ComicBook.com, Gabriel Luna revealed that there has been some discussion among Marvel execs about a potential spin-off. He said, “It’s been talked about, there’s definitely deals in place for that potential. But I just take it one day at a time. I have so much fun now I just want to make sure I get these episodes right. If they throw more episodes on my plate, I will do my best to do well with those stories as well.”

Would it be possible to even integrate Ghost Rider into the MCU with his growing popularity? Luna won’t say anything about that, except to say who he thinks he would like to see Ghost Rider team up with. “I think it’d be cool to see Blade, and The Punisher, and Strange and that whole Midnight Sons kind of run. And you have the Dark Avengers – you’ve got all these teams that The Ghost Rider slides into… I love that idea, that potential.”
