Ghost in the Shell Featurette

A movie featurette for Ghost in the Shell‘s (2017) has been released by Paramount Pictures. Many had doubts about this film but this featurette may quite them. At the very least, it will sooth nerves. The set design and the action in this upcoming sci-fi film look outstanding, helped in no small part by the presence of action film aficionado Scarlett Johansson and the direction of Rupert Sanders.

It’s the individual film scenes presented in this featurette (and what the viewer will get to witness) that really make it stand out. They will certainly build positive buzz for the film. During this featurette, the viewer gets to see how those scenes, some from director Mamoru Oshii‘s 1995 seminal anime adaptation of the Ghost in the Shell manga, are created and re-created. Oshii actually makes a set visit to Sanders’ Ghost in the Shell set and speaks about what he saw and his feelings regarding the adaptation, especially Scarlett Johansson.
